Flick does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or contacts. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, and Flick contains no third-party advertising SDKs.
The files and folders you choose to send or receive are transferred between devices you control and are stored on those devices — not on GDLabs servers. Flick only accesses the files you explicitly select to send.
Flick needs an internet connection to move files. Transfers happen peer-to-peer (device‑to‑device) whenever possible. To connect the app and a computer, you turn on sharing and get a short key; entering that key at flick.gdlabs.xyz establishes a direct link. To set up a connection, Flick processes only the minimal networking information needed to route it (such as device connection details), used solely to establish the transfer.
If the network blocks a direct connection, Flick relays your transfer over a secure connection for up to about one hour, after which the relay and any share link expire. Relayed data is transient and is not retained after the transfer completes or the link expires.
Flick Pro is an optional subscription (monthly or yearly, with a free trial) handled entirely by Apple's App Store. Receiving files is always free. We never see or receive your payment details; Apple processes billing under its own privacy policy.
Flick is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own use. A transfer involves only the devices you connect and, when a direct link is not possible, a temporary relay used solely to complete delivery.
